Extracts from a Sympathy Card Sent to Venu’s Family

            As a cyclist and swimmer, I always enjoyed talking with Venu about these things. I will miss him. -- Dr. Larry Kaplan, Head of Oncology of UCSF.

            I became so fond of Venu and will always remember his spirit, courage and positivity. We talked a lot about his swimming and biking events and he’ll be in my  thoughts as I train for a ½ marathon. Even as he was in great pain, he would ask me about my training.
